Would Insurance Cover A Cosmetic Rhinoplasty If There Were Also Real Medical Problems With The Nose?

I have some problems breathing through my nose. I hadn’t really noticed it before but the more I think about it, the more I realize that my breathing could probably be better. I have also been thinking about getting cosmetic rhinoplasty for a very long time. I was wondering, if I went to a plastic surgeon to fix my breathing problems, could I also get my nose cosmetically “fixed”, “reshaped” (which ever term you chose to use) at the same time and still be covered by the insurance? Thanks in advance.

I think it depends on the insurance, how you put your problem and also which country you come from and there policies. You have to be smart,a friend of mine had outstanding ears, but not outstanding enough for the insurance to cover it,she applied again and had to send over a foto, she put something behind the ear so they looked more outstanding.Get informed well, goodluck

Im sure you could apply for government funding if you have health insurance. Depending on what country you are in. Go to your doctor and they could discuss with you options of how to apply for ACC funding.
I hope all goes well :)
