How Long After Rhinoplasty Can I Smoke?
I quit 2 weeks before surgery, and it’s 15 days after surgery now. When can I start smoking cigarettes again?

Oh my, you want to go back to smoking? Plastic surgery means you want to look better? If you go back to smoking, you will get “mummy lips”, deep side of the mouth creases, frown lines,(because of the Smoke from the first light up), and a host of other wrinkles. At 25 you will look like 35 at 35 you will look like 45 etc. You will always look 10 years older. Your skin will also have this dull life-less beigh-ness to it. But the worse will be the mummy lips. There is no surgery for the mummy lips except deep abrasion up to 1/8 deep, and when your older you cannot wear a mustache to hide it like a man. So… You really want to go there?

Smoking slows the body’s ability to heal and increases the risk of infection; slower healing means more scarring. You’ve already gone a month without smoking, why not just quit entirely, you’re already over the worst of the cravings anyway.

This is something you need to discuss with your doctor. Why wouldn’t you call your doctor and ask them directly?
