It’s not that big when I’m not smiling, but when I smile it’s so big 
. I think I’m decent looking, but it holds me back sorry to post this. But it’s driving me wild, is it worth investing into surgery, or is this just psychological????? People keep saying it’s fine, but I know it’s not.

I need to have a rhinoplasty ( I probably spelt it wrong ) do to a life long medical problem ( in other words its not a new problem I have had it all my life ) I know it can be hard to get an insurance company to help pay on these kinds of things. I have only found one doctor who I really trust to do this. This doctor is not on my list of providers given to me by my insurance company. Can I make a claim on this operation to my insurance any way? Please give kind answers I really don`t know much about insurance.

~Please stop reading whenever this idea gets a little too farfetched for you but please answer seriously and tell me if you think this would work or if it wouldn’t~
Do you think that it could be possible, to make a mold of the face using wax, let the thick wax shell dry, fix the discrepency of the nose (in my case i have a bump on my bridge and it looks SO TERRIBLE at the side) from the wax mold by pooring in more hot wax to the “fix” the bridge. Wait for it to dry, poor in liquid rubber, wait for it to dry, peel off the wax cast from the rubber nose that is now the nose you want, poor a liquid plastic shell over the rubber nose, wait for it to dry. Afterwards pull the rubber from the plastic, and wear the plastic nose mold to bed for a year or so ( I wouldn’t know if this works so i’m guessing the time ). Would it kind of be like braces for your nose? Your nose gets so used to the mold and how it’s used to at night that it slowly shapes it that way. [ My theory seems logical at least to me, but would only seem to work if the mold was from your nose, not an unrelated nose ]

i have had excrutiating pain in my nose constantly for 3 years and i dont know what to do!!
I dont know why i got the pain it just started hurting one day 3 years ago and has rarely stopped since then.
I went to the doctor two years ago and they did x-ray and mri and said my bones were all in check and they did nothing for the pain and they offered my nasal steriods but i didnt take them because they said they doubted they would work….should i take them anyway??
and a few months ago i went to a dif doctor and he said i had a deveated septum and that was why i had nose pains. But i dont think thats right because i know lots of people with deveated septums and they dont have nose pains. Anyways he gave me an antihestimine and it did nothing and now he said he doesnt know what to do.
There are no other doctors where i live and i live on an island and there is no other way for me to leave for another doc because we are poor. Im 17 and live w/ my mom and she doesnt really believe me when i complain about my nose pain and just says “im sorry” or “i dont know what to tell you”.
The pain hurts in many dif spots. Sometimes its right where my nose meets my forhead, other times its right where i have a little bump, and it also hurts along the bridge of my nose on the cartilidge bone, and it hurts on the nose bones the open your nostrels….(sorry i dont know their names)
and the pain also moves into my forhead along my eyebrows giving me headaches and it also hurts in my cheekbones and sometimes at the top of my head and the back of my head.
the pain tightens my face and sometimes it hurts to make face expressions especially raising my eyebrows.
i can breathe fully out of my right nostril but my left one is a little more stuffed and closed.
please if you know anything about this id be happy to hear it.
although i cant afford it, if you know any nose doctor specialists please tell me.

i cant think because of the constant pain….i cant concentrate, focus….i cant even read
and when im in social situations i appear aloof because of the pain
too ease the pain i used to take pain killers but they did nothing but now too ease the pain i have to put pressure from my fingers on my nose which i bet makes it worse but for a moment they pain seizes.
