Hello! Here is an interesting question with some good answers.
**PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY**
I think plastic surgery is totally worth it as long as everything goes right (which most of the times it does) and that the results look absolutely natural and beautiful. You just need to choose the right doctor who has a lot of experience.
For example, Ayumi Hamasaki is a Japanese celebrity from Japan who underwent surgery to alter her eyes to make them appear bigger. She looks like a totally different person after the surgery, but still beautiful nonetheless. Not that I’m saying she wasn’t beautiful before the surgery, but I personally think she looks more “beautiful” and more “feminine” now that she has bigger eyes.
Look at her before and after pictures:

After:

Yes, I know she was “cuter” in the before pictures, but you’ve gotta admit she’s more “beautiful” in the after pictures and the results of her eyes looks totally natural. So I don’t know why people have to be so against plastic surgery, I mean it’s ALRIGHT to have surgery only once, but if you have surgery multiple times like Jocelyn Wildenstein then of course you’ll mess up your face. But I’m talking about having surgery only once here, it doesn’t hurt to have surgery just ONCE to fix one flaw about yourself. You get what I mean?
I just hate it when people think you’re trying to be a different race just because you want to have plastic surgery. For example, just because Asians want to have bigger eyes doesn’t mean they’re trying to be White, it means that they just want to look more beautiful and different since they’re tired of their small eyes. Some blacks bleach their skin lighter, but it’s not because they’re trying to be White either, they are just trying something new. I mean, when a White person dyes their hair Black then does that mean they’re trying to be Asian? No. So I don’t get why people think altering your facial features, skin, hair, etc etc think that you’re trying to be a different race when you’re not.
Some people in the world weren’t blessed with good looks like other people, so they go through life feeling all ugIy and depressed, so the only option they have besides makeup is to undergo plastic surgery. Wouldn’t that help boost up their self-confidence if they have plastic surgery? I mean, why go through life feeling ugIy when you could simply change it? It doesn’t matter if it’s considered fake, because we only live once, so why not do everything we can to fulfill our happiness before we die? You see what I’m trying to say here?
And now I know that many people are probably gonna say stuff like “Why don’t you just accept how God made you?” or something along those lines. Well, all I gotta say is that God gave us FREE WILL so that means we get to do anything we want with ourselves as long as it makes us happy and as long as we’re not hurting anybody then that is all that really matters. God doesn’t care if you alter your looks, as long as you know what you’re doing then it’s totally fine with him.
I’m just trying to express my own opinion here, but I know some people probably won’t agree with me though, and it’s alright because I understand that not everyone is the same and we all have different opinions.
This question was exactly what was on my mind. The answers helped with my problem. I am glad the original poster shared.
Have an awesome day!
